Kids and Food

Ok, I decided to start as an addition to my main blog, Scattered Musings of a Stay at Home Mom, well because they tend to go hand in hand. When it comes to meal times, I swear my kids turn into the pickiest eaters. There are times that I make something and neither one of them like it and then I am scrambling to find them something that they will eat, usually this will be sandwiches or breakfast.

Now, I know this is normal for their ages (9 and 3), so I try not to worry about that. I know it's a phase (at least I hope so) and they will soon grow out of it. My 9 year old isn't as bad right now. But, man, it sure makes me want to pull my hair out!

So I decided to start this food blog too. Everyday I will post a recipe and the meal we are having for that day and every week I will be sharing my meal plan. I do browse other food blogs and if I find a recipe that I like and use in my meal plan I will be sure to link the blog in the post. Now, there will be days where will just be having sandwiches or even leftovers. The meals that I plan tend to be very simple with lots of fruits and veggies.
